Tehran, Iran, Sep. 30 – Sudan’s Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Kartis declared on Wednesday that his government in Khartoum planned to promote bilateral ties with Iran in a number of fields.

Iran’s official news agency IRNA reported that Kartis made these comments on the sidelines of the 66th UN General Assembly meeting.

Kartis met with Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi where he stated that Tehran “is highly influential in international relations.”
