Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Aug. 01 Iran said on Monday that it was committed to expanding its ties with the United Arab Emirates.

Tehran, Iran, Aug. 01 Iran said on Monday that it was committed to expanding its ties with the United Arab Emirates.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi said that cooperation between the two states was a serious priority for the Islamic Republic. He was speaking at a joint Iran-UAE summit in Tehran.

Asefi in particular praised Tehran-Abu Dhabi cooperation in extraditing wanted individuals.
