Tehran, Iran, May 12 – Iran rejected on Friday a report by the French news agency AFP that it had blocked United Nations weapons inspectors from examining one of its nuclear sites on April 21.

“Such news is only aimed at weakening Iran’s placement in the final days of the Non-Proliferation Treaty revision conference”, said Ali-Asghar Soltaniyeh, Iran’s permanent representative to the UN nuclear watchdog. His remarks were reported by the state-run news agency ISNA.

“There are no limitations regarding inspections”, he said.
