“We hope the other resistance groups can be pioneers”, Ali Larijani told Hamas political bureau chief, Khaled Mashal, during a telephone conversation on Wednesday. His comments were reported by the official news agency IRNA .
 
Mashal reiterated Hamas’s gratitude for Tehran's continued support, stating, "Your stance on Palestine has always been very brave and we are confident that such a stance will continue until the victory of Palestinians".
 
Iran has long been accused of providing funding and weaponry for violence in Palestine.
