3 die, 20 trapped as building collapses in Iran capital

ImageTehran, Iran, Jun. 30 – At least people have died as a seven-storey building in north-west Tehran collapsed on Monday.

A further 20 are currently trapped under the rubble, state radio said.

The apartment block collapsed in the early hours of the day in Tehran’s Saadat-abad district. All those hurt in the accident were workers, officials have said. Emergency rescue teams have been unable to pull anyone out of the debris.
