ImageIran Focus: Tehran, Dec. 05 – Iran’s Minister of Industries and Mines Ali-Akbar Mehrabian went on Thursday to Senegal for an official visit in Dakar.

ImageTehran, Dec. 05 – Iran’s Minister of Industries and Mines Ali-Akbar Mehrabian went on Thursday to Senegal for an official visit in Dakar.

Mehrabian will meet Senegal’s Minister of Mines, Industry and Small and Media Enterprises Ousmane Ngom.

State media reported that Mehrabian and the Senegalese ministers will discuss and sign a memorandum of understanding on expansion of industrial and mineral cooperation.

The Iranian Minister will also hold talks with the Senegalese Prime Minister Cheikh Hadjibou Soumare. Further, he will open an auto-manufacturing factory and attend a press conference.

Iran is pursuing a joint project with Senegal in car manufacturing. It has called for an increase in joint cooperation in areas of geology, mineral exploration and petrochemicals.
