Iranian FM holds trade talks in Baku

ImageIran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Feb. 19 – Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki arrived in Baku on Thursday where he began talks on trade with Azerbaijani officials, state radio reported.

ImageTehran, Iran, Feb. 19 – Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki arrived in Baku on Thursday where he began talks on trade with Azerbaijani officials, state radio reported.

Mottaki and Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mamadayrov took part in a session of the Iran-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic & Humanitarian Co-operation.

The last session of the Commission took place in Tehran in January 2005.

In November 2008, Azerbaijan's ambassador to Tehran said that Tehran-Baku trade had increased from 147 million dollars to 800 million dollars over the past ten years.
