ImageTehran, Mar. 31 – Two earthquakes simultaneously rocked areas of Iran's northern province of Mazandaran on Wednesday while a third weaker tremor hit Tehran.
 
The two quakes which hit Mazandaran province measured 2.3 and 1.8 on the Richter scale.
 
The quakes struck at 03:34 and 03:36 local time (23:04 and 23:06 hours GMT, Tuesday), the state-run Fars news agency reported.
 
The third quake which hit the capital Tehran measured 1.5 on the Richter Scale, jolting the city at 02:54 local time (22:24 hours GMT)
 
There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage to property.
