London, May 08 A top Sunni Iraqi leader accused Iran of sending agents of its Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) to infiltrate Iraq.
Many Shiites living in southern and central Iraq have complained of the presence of centres belonging to the MOIS in their hometowns, Adnan al-Dulaimi told the Arab-language daily Asharq al-Awsat on Sunday.
Al-Dulaimi, who heads the General Council for the People of Iraq, also accused Tehran of importing and marketing illegal drugs in Iraq.
Just the presence of drugs of Iranian origin in Iraq proves that Iran is meddling in Iraqi affairs, he said.
