The state of affairs in Iran after the nuclear deal

Iran Focus

London, 13 May – The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has published an infographic detailing the changes and events that have taken place since the nuclear deal was signed last year.

Iran’s offensive strategies have persisted and become even bolder. Four ballistic missile tests have been conducted; violating international sanctions unrelated to the nuclear deal. The export of terror and violence has continued with thousands of foreign mercenaries recruited from desperate refugee populations to fight in Syria.

Antagonistic behaviour such as the parading of arrested US Navy personnel who strayed into Iranian waters on television and smuggling arms to various militias involved in the regional proxy war has done little to improve Iran’s image.

Domestically Iran has begun the largest crackdown on dissidents, journalists and activists in years. Thousands of morality police have been deployed on Iran’s streets to impose dress codes on women. Thousands of people have also been executed, including women and children.
