Iran Focus: Tehran, Jun. 11 – Chants of “Allah-o Akbar” (God is the greatest) and “death to the dictator” could be heard coming from rooftops on Friday around 22:30 local time in Fatemi, Mirdamad and Vanak districts of Tehran.

Tehran, Jun. 11 – Chants of “Allah-o Akbar” (God is the greatest) and “death to the dictator” could be heard coming from rooftops on Friday around 22:30 local time in Fatemi, Mirdamad and Vanak districts of Tehran. There are chants all over the capital. People reply to one another with different chants.
 
People are also chanting “death to the principle of velayat-e faqih” (or absolute clerical rule), “[Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei shame on you, leave our country alone”.
 
In Mirdamad Street there were chants of “death to the dictator”, and “Khamenei is a murder, his velayat (rule) is null and void”.
 
There were similar chants in Aryashahr, in west Tehran.
