Long queues, some with 100 cars, formed in petrol stations in Mossadeq and Pasdaran streets as well as the Yadegar expressway in the Iranian capital Tehran.

There were graffiti on the walls of the stations which read, “Death to Khamenei (Iran’s Supreme Leader), the uprising is continuing – Tehran’s young activists”, which drew the attention of the drivers and passers-by.
