Tehran, Iran, Oct. 21 – Nurses in the town of Babol, northern Iran, rallied outside the town’s health department building, protesting overdue salaries, Persian-language websites reported on Friday.

The nurses said that they had not received their salaries for more than six months.

During the rally on Thursday, officials repeatedly came out of the government building and called on the protestors to end their demonstration.
