Tehran, May 24 – From the Grapevine…

Pro-democracy activists distributed hundreds of political leaflets in central Tehran on Sunday.

The leaflets were distributed in Yusef-Abad District and in the vicinity of the Interior Ministry, Salmas and Golha (Flowers) squares, near the Water and Sewage Department and around Sajjad Hospital.

Some of the leaflets read: “Heroic people of Iran, 10-20 June shall be unforgettable days in Iran’s contemporary history, when the criminal Khamenei regime will shake to its foundation. Come to the street to defend the rights of political prisoners and the Iranian nation. We can and we must send this regime to the dustbin of history, and that day is not far. Let us join together on 10-20 June.”

Iran’s main opposition has called for 10 days of nationwide protests beginning on 10 June to mark the anniversary of the uprising last year.
