LONDON (Reuters) – Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett said on Tuesday she was cutting short her visit to Turkey and returning to London because of the Iran prisoner crisis.

“I had hoped that the situation involving our missing sailors and Royal Marines would have been peacefully resolved by now. I have decided with regret to curtail my visit here so that I can report tomorrow to parliament on the latest position,” Beckett said in a statement.
