Tehran, Iran, Mar. 10 – A new branch of a joint Iranian-Iraqi bank will be opened in Iraq’s holy city of Najaf on Tuesday, Iran’s official news agency IRNA reported on Monday.

The new branch of Bank Keshavarzi Heshmatollah Nazari will be launched in the presence of Iranian and Iraqi officials, the reported said.

The bank has been established by Bank Eqtesad Novin and Bank Keshavarzi, it said.

The bank already has two other branches in the cities of Baghdad and Karbala.
