UN General Assembly Voted Overwhelmingly Condemns Human Rights Situation in Syria

London, 18 Nov – The Iranian Resistance have stated that any solution for the Syrian conflict that does not involve the complete removal of the Iranian Regime and its Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) will fail.

On Tuesday, the UN General Assembly voted overwhelmingly in favour of a resolution to condemn the human rights situation in Syria and the terrorist interventions by the IRGC in the country.

This clearly shows that the international community is concerned about the situation in Syria, the involvement of militia groups, and the serious negative impact on the region.

The resolution condemned all attacks against the moderate Syrian opposition and called for an immediate ceasefire, noting that such attacks only benefit terrorist groups and contribute to the humanitarian crisis.

The Iranian Regime opposed the resolution of course, underlining their commitment to continuing terrorist activity throughout the middle east; including slaughtering the people of Syria.

The reason being that the Iranian Regime feels that their dictatorship would be in dangerous if Assad’s dictatorship was to fall in Syria. In fact, the Regime leaders openly refer to Syria as Iran’s 35th province.

Ayatollah Khamenei said: “If the defenders of the Holy Shrine (of Hazrat Zeinab) did not fight (in Syria), we would have to fight in (the western Iranian provinces of) Kermanshah and Hamedan.”

President Rouhani said: “If our Armed Forces did not secure our country’s security, if our valiant commanders did not persevere in Baghdad, Samarra, Fallujah, Al-Ramadi, etc., if they did not help the Government of Syria in Damascus and Aleppo, if it were not for the courage of the Army, the Guards Corps (IRGC), the (paramilitary) Bassij Force, and the State Security Force, we would not have any security to enable us to hold such a good negotiation.”

Ali Shamkhani, secretary of the regime’s Supreme National Security Council, threatened Western and regional countries. He said: “In dealing with regional and trans-regional state sponsors of terrorism, we will carry out any action that we are able to do in various fields.”

Iran is the primary cause of the Syrian crisis and the expansion of Daesh (ISIS/ISIL), and if they are not expelled from Syria, the plan would fail.
