A group of 14 Nobel laureates has written a joint letter to the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, in which they drew attention to the Iranian authorities crackdown on the ongoing Iran protests, and call for the UN to immediately intervene to prevent the mullahs from conducting further atrocities against the Iranian people.

Amnesty International said in its latest report on Monday on the crackdown on popular protests in Iran in November that at least 208 people were killed in the protests, according to credible reports received by the organization.
Despite a bloody crackdown on the protesters in Iran, the resistance units of Iran’s main opposing group the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI-MEK) continue their activities in major cities in Iran.
