Iran Focus: Tehran, Jun. 12 – Some 400 opposition supporters Saturday evening clashed with hard-line members of the paramilitary Bassij and plain-clothes agents at the intersection of Palestine and Enqelab streets, chanting “death to the dictator” and “[Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei shame on you, leave our country alone”, eye witnesses reported.

Tehran, Jun. 12 – Some 400 opposition supporters Saturday evening clashed with hard-line members of the paramilitary Bassij and plain-clothes agents at the intersection of Palestine and Enqelab streets, chanting “death to the dictator” and “[Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei shame on you, leave our country alone”, eye witnesses reported.

In Navvab and Enqelab streets towards Towhid Square, a few hundred people have staged a protest and clashed with police, who are out in force.

In Tehran’s Fisher-Abad Street, near Ferdowsi Square, some 300 people clashed with the Bassij militia and special anti-riot guards, chanting “death to Khamenei”, and “death to the dictator”. A militiaman was beaten seriously and three protesters were injured.
