Pro-democracy activists in Tehran have stepped up writing slogans and graffiti in public spots in support of general strikes and international sanctions against the regime.

In Khazaneh, Hezar Dastgah, Heshmatiya, Tehran-Pars and Daryan-no districts, activists have written slogans such as “Death to [Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei”, “Sanctions benefit the people”, and “bloodthirsty Khamenei, sanctions have humiliated you”.
