London, 25 Apr – Jordanians gathered in the northern city of Mafraq to burn Iranian flags and pictures of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Friday, April 14.
They also called for the expulsion of Iran’s ambassador from Jordan.

London, 25 Apr – Iran could soon achieve real positive change, if the US re-aligns itself with the Iranian Resistance forces, according to the political director of a non-profit that works to promote human rights and democracy in Iran.
Dr Majid Sadeghpour, from the Organization of Iranian-American Communities (OIACUS), wrote an op-ed for The Hill arguing that the Trump administration has made the right decision on holding the Iranian Regime to account for its use of ballistic weapons but pleaded with them to go further.

London, 25 Apr – The Iranian Election is drawing ever closer and people all over the globe are speculating what change this will bring for relations with the middle-eastern country, but they are wrong to expect any change from the Iranian Regime.
Heshmat Alavi, a human rights expert, wrote an op-ed on Al-Arabiya in which he asserted that this election would bring no significant changes for the middle-east, the international community and, most importantly, no changes for the people of Iran.

London, 25 Apr – The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of Human Rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Asma Jahangir has publicly denounced a report by the Iranian News Agency (IRNA) which alleged that she was planning a visit to Saudi Arabia, during which she would collude with them in order to defame Iran.

London, 25 Apr – The Obama administration reportedly released seven Iranians who posed a national security risk to the United States in order to get the 2015 nuclear deal agreed.
The Obama administration overruled prosecutors and lawyers in order to free these people who were charged as part of a weapons-procurement ring. They claimed that the prisoners had merely violated economic sanctions; although considering that money funnelled to Iran funds terrorism and repression, surely that’s bad enough.

London, 25 Apr – The final appeal of a British-Iranian woman falsely charged with attempting to overthrow the dictatorship in Iran has been rejected.
Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who works for the charitable foundation Thomson Reuters Foundation, was arrested last April when she took her daughter, Gabriella, to celebrate Nowruz (Iranian New Year) with her family.

London, 24 Apr – The Iranian Regime has put a notorious human rights abuser on the ballot for their upcoming Presidential elections; proving that there is no moderate faction within the Regime.
Ebrahim Raisi, a member of the Death Commissions which sent 30,000 political prisoners, mainly members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK), to their death in 1988, announced his candidacy last week.

London, 24 Apr – As their sham Presidential Elections draw ever closer, it becomes clearer and clear that the Iranian Regime is worried about potential uprisings from its oppressed people; similar to the Green revolution which followed the 2009 election.
The Supreme Leader of the Iranian Regime, Ali Khamenei, recently met with military commanders to express his security concerns.

London, 24 Apr – The Trump administration has once again called out Iran for their violation of the nuclear deal, with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson comparing the country to North Korea and Donald Trump advising that Iran is violating the “spirit” of the deal.
While the most recent report by the Trump administration have declared that the Iranian Regime is compliant with the 2015 nuclear deal, the Iranian Resistance group, the National Council of resistance of Iran (NCRI) have revealed the Regime has established off-grid sites which are hidden from the International Atomic Energy Agency and were, therefore, not included in the report.

London, 24 Apr – While the Trump administration is right to be worried about Syria and North Korea in terms of human rights abuses and regional destabilisation, but these are relatively small issues in comparison to the threat posed by the Iranian Regime, according to Jennifer Rubin.
She wrote: “The incoherence here is stunning. On one hand, we are properly worried over Syria and North Korea. On the other hand, our current policy toward Iran, a much greater threat, is such that we are helping to rebuild and enrich a country that is supporting Assad, is exporting terrorism, is fomenting regional chaos and — even without cheating — can eventually obtain nuclear weapons.”
