London, 11 Sep – The Iranian Regime must be held to account for their role in the 9/11 attacks, according to a human rights activist.

Heshmat Alavi, wrote an article for Al Arabiya, entitled “Revisiting Iran’s 9/11 connection”, in which he explored the links between the Iranian Regime and the biggest terrorist attack on American soil.

Alavi began by paying tribute to the over 3,000 people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, before explaining how the real perpetrators- the Iranian Regime- have escaped without prosecution.

London, 11 Sep – If Donald Trump really wants to challenge the Iranian Regime, then he must support the Resistance, bring the Regime back to the negotiating table and end the destabilisation of the Middle East, according to a human rights activist.

Hamid Bahrami, a former political prisoner from Iran, wrote an op-ed for the American Thinker, in which he laid out how Trump and the US could challenge the Regime, rather than bow to their manipulations.

He wrote: “It is crucial to point out that as history reveals, the Iranian regime has consistently forced the West into submission and offering concessions by taking international security as a hostage. For example, the seizure of U.S. Embassy in 1979, the protraction of nuclear negotiations for nearly 10 years, and now by the [nuclear deal].”

London, 11 Sep – It has been reported that the hunger strike in Rajai Shahr Prison is growing. More and more prisoners, from other prisons across Iran too, are joining in the strike.

The hunger strike was started in Rajai Shahr Prison, with around two dozen participants who are continuing indefinitely. Several prisoners in Ardabil Prison joined in solidarity, partaking in a two-week hunger strike.

Some reports say that the total number of prisoners on hunger strike is around 130, plus countless other activists inside and outside the country.

London, 11 Sep – Yesterday, President of the United States Donald Trump called on Saudi Arabia and other Arab States to unite with Qatar once again, resolve their issues, and show that they are united against Iran.

He spoke separately with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. He said that as US Arab partners, he wanted them to move together to promote stability in the region and to counter the threat that Iran is currently posing.

Shammeri explains that we can deduce that North Korea is working with another country on their ballistic missile programme thanks to both the mobile launchers and the nuclear-missile nose cones used in the latest inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM) tests conducted by Pyongyang.

London, 8 Sep – An organisation dedicated to freedom of the press and fighting for the rights of journalists all over the world have condemned the Iranian Regime’s treatment of a journalist and political prisoner, which caused him to lose half of his face.

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) released a statement about Alireza Rajaee, a board member of the Association of Iranian Journalists, who has recently undergone a long delayed treatment for cancer, which cost him his right eye and part of his face.

London, 8 Sep – Princeton University is reportedly working on a daily basis to free their doctoral student held hostage in Iran.

Xiyue Wang, a fourth-year history graduate student, travelled to Iran in 2016 to do research for his dissertation and was imprisoned by the Regime for spying.

Princeton University released a statement, which noted that Wang, 37, had been “unjustly imprisoned” and that the Regime had extorted Wang out of nearly $12,000.

London, 8 Sep – On Wednesday, a day after female lawmakers were permitted to attend the World Cup qualifier against Syria, the website of Iran’s main stadium was hacked. This came with a demand that women be allowed to watch football matches.

During Tehran’s Azadi stadium last-minute equaliser by the visiting team, at least two female lawmakers were present. This is believed to be the first time Iranian women were allowed to watch a men’s match since the 1979 Islamic revolution.

ISNA news agency reported on the next day that the stadium website had been hacked, and a banner appeared for several hours across the front page, saying, “Let Iranian women enter their stadiums”.
