London, 7 Sep – Iran has an extensive network of clandestine spies and recent reports suggest that dozens of journalists are being threatened and blackmailed. Their aim is to make sure that there is only positive coverage of Iran in global media.

It is estimated that at least 50 international journalists (and / or their family members) have been on the
receiving-end of threats from Iranian spies in the past year alone.

Turks Charged in United States for Conspiring to Violate Iran Sanctions

London, 7 Sep – Earlier this week, federal prosecutors in the United States announced that a new indictment had been filed. The indictment charges a former economy minister from Turkey, and three other Turks, with involvement in a conspiracy to violate US sanctions against Iran.

These charges have been expanded from an existing case that had gained interest from Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, and Rudy Giuliani, former Mayor of New York City and informal advisor to President Trump, as well as some senior members of Trump’s administration.

Iran Is Thwarted in Yemen

London, 7 Sep – Iran’s plans to take over Yemen have been thwarted by the Arab coalition forces, according to the Yemeni Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin Daghr.

Bin Daghr said that the Yemeni army, supported by the Saudi-led coalition forces in operation “Decisive Storm”, is currently in control of 85 percent of the territories in Yemen and is heading towards a great victory against the Iranian foe.

Iran Re-Imposes Death Sentence Quashed by Supreme Court

London, 7 Sep – The Iranian Regime has reimposed the death penalty of a religious leader after the original death sentence was overturned by the Supreme Court, a representative for the judiciary said on Sunday.

Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, the spokesman for the judiciary, said: “[Mohammad Ali Taheri’s] case was sent back to court and tried with the presence of a lawyer and various advisers and the judge has again reached.”

According to the Regime-affiliated news agency ISNA, he also said that the sentence could be appealed.

London, 7 Sep – Shiite cleric Ali al-Sistani, one of the most senior figures in Iraq, has refused to receive a delegation from the Iranian Regime, according to Iraq sources, giving more evidence to the idea that Iraq is looking to pull away from Iran’s influence.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei sent the Chairman of the Iranian Expediency Council Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi, to visit Iraq and meet with Al-Sistani following rising escalations among the pro-Tehran Shiite alliance.

Five Injured in Protests Over IRGC’s Murders

London, 7 Sep – Five protesters in Iran have been wounded as the security forces used tear gas to disperse them on Tuesday September 5.

Activists in Baneh and Mariwan had shut their shops and taken to the streets in protest at the extrajudicial killings of two Kurdish porters (kolbars) by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).

They stormed the Mayor’s Building and set several rooms and vehicles on fire.

The kolbars, Heydar Faraji, 21, and Qader Bahrami, 45, had been carrying goods across the Iran-Kurdistan Region border.
