EU Parliament Condemns Human Rights Abuses in Iran

London, 29 Jun – Hundreds of members of the European Parliament have come together to condemn the egregious human rights violations in Iran, call for justice for the victims of the 1988 massacre, and call for the blacklisting of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation.

The statement which outlines these movements, penned by Gérard Deprez MEP, the President of the Friends of a Free Iran group within the European Parliament, has been signed by 265 MEPs from across all EU countries and political parties. 

Former Archbishop Rowan Williams: Religious Minorities in Iran Deserve Protection

London, 29 Jun – The Former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams is urging Western Governments to put the rights of religious minorities at the heart of any future deals with the Iranian Regime.

Lord Williams is working with dozens of faith leaders across the UK and the US, including the former Bishop of Oxford John Pritchard, the Bishop of Bristol Mike Hill, and the Bishop of Burnley Philip North, to make clear that Christians and other religious minorities are subject to high levels of harassment and persecution under the ruling theocracy in Iran.

NCRI: Regime Change Is Coming in Iran

London, 28 Jun – Shahin Gobadi, a member of Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, wrote an op-ed for Al-Arabiya in which he revealed that regime change in Iran is not only possible, it’s coming sooner than we think.

In the piece, Gobadi called for an end to the appeasement of the Iranian mullahs, in favour of reaching out to the Resistance in order to create a better, safer world.

Iranian Resistance: Prevent Regime From Destroying Graves of Political Prisoners

London, 28 Jun – The Iranian Resistance has called on all human rights organisations to condemn the destruction of mass graves in Iran by the ruling mullahs.

These graves provide crucial evidence about the 1988 massacre in which 30,000 political prisoners, mostly members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), were murdered by the Iranian Regime for being a member or supporter of a different political party.

European Parliament Vp: There Is No Right Time to Invest in Iran

London, 28 Jun – The vice president of the European Parliament said that there will never be a good time for international businesses to invest in Iran.

Ryszard Czarnecki, who is also a former member of the European Parliament for Poland, wrote an op-ed for The Diplomat in which he warned European businesses against investing in Iran’s industries because they will be funding terrorism, destabilising the missile east, and repressing the Iranian people.

MEK: The Opposition the Iranian Regime Wants to Silence

For the Iranian regime, staying power means oppressing all voices that challenge their rule, particularly the human rights abuses and strict laws on everything from who you can socialize with to how you dress in public. Yet, one group has been the main focus of the regime’s efforts to suppress and undermine their voice in support of a free Iran. That group is the MEK.

When the MEK was removed from the U.S. list of terrorist groups, Iranian regime House Speaker Ali Larijni said during his speech on June 23, “Now it’s you (the United States) who are sponsor of terrorism and even mother of terrorism, yet you accuse the Iranian regime of sponsoring terrorism. Your accusations are shameful…Today, the Americans removed the MEK from their list of terrorist groups.”

European Parliament Condemns Human Rights Violation in Iran

London, 27 Jun – In a statement, dated Monday June 26, 265 members across all political parties in the European Parliament have come together to condemn the egregious human rights violations in Iran.

The statement read: “When the issue of human rights violations, repression of women and minorities and the Iranian regime’s support of terrorism are concerned, we are all united.”

Should IRGC Go on the Terror List?

London, 27 Jun – When the Iranian Regime launched its failed missile attacks on ISIS militants in Deir ez-Zour, Syria, supposedly in retaliation for the recent terror attacks in Tehran, but failed to notify the US-backed troops who were fighting ISIS on the ground, it sent a message.

Iran doesn’t want to destroy terrorist organisations, indeed they back quite a few; they just want control of the Middle East.

Iran Regime Planned Terror Attack on Mecca Mosque to Discredit Saudis

London, 27 Jun – Last week, the Saudi Security Forces arrested five members of a terrorist cell who were planning to attack the area surrounding the Grand Mosque or Great Kaaba in Mecca.
