Former US Ambassador: Iran Must Not Be Allowed to Get Away With Non-Compliance With Nuclear Deal

London, 17 Jul – The Trump administration must stop giving Iran a pass on its non-compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal, according to a former undersecretary of state for arms control and international security affairs.

John R. Bolton, a former US ambassador to the United Nations, wrote an op-ed for The Hill in which he questioned the State Department’s rumoured decision to report that Iran is compliant with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), signed by the UN Security Council’s five permanent members and Germany in 2015, despite clear evidence to the contrary.

The Regime is destabilising the Middle East, building intercontinental ballistic missiles that can reach Europe, Asia, and Africa, and working with North Korea on nuclear weapons technology in violation of the agreement.

Giuliani: Iran Is Bigger Threat to the US Than North Korea or Russia

London, 17 Jul – The former Mayor of New York, Rudy Giuliani, warned that Iran is the greatest threat to the USA right now, during a conference in Paris earlier this month.

During the annual Free Iran Gathering, organised by the People’s Mojahedin Organisation of Iran (PMOI), Giuliani said that the Iranian Regime posed a greater threat than both North Korea’s Kim Jong-un and Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

IRGC Is Bigger Terror Threat Than ISIS

London, 17 Jul – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) represents a bigger terror threat than even ISIS according to high ranking people in the US Defence sector.

James Woolsey, the director of the Central Intelligence Agency, and Peter Vincent Pry, chief of staff of the congressional EMP Commission and served on the House Armed Services Committee and the CIA, wrote an oop-ed for the Washington Post in which they discussed that the IRGC is a bigger terror threat than ISIS in terms of size, advanced weaponry, and state support.

Iran Sentences Four Christians to Prison for Ten Years Each

London, 15 Jul – Four Iranian Christians have been sentenced to ten years in prison each for “acting against national security.”

The 26th branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Tehran has finally sentenced recent Christian convert Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani and three others to 10 years in prison.

As part of a series of raids by security service agents on Christian homes, Pastor Nadarkhani, along with Mohammadreza Omidi, Yasser Mossayebzadeh and Saheb Fadaie were arrested in their homes in largest city on Iran’s Caspian Sea coast, Rasht.

Mattis’ Remarks Unsettle Iranian Regime

London, 15 Jul – When US Secretary of Defense James Mattis made remarks regarding the importance of regime change in Iran, it provoked extreme reactions from the Iranian regime.

Mattis’ recent remarks is another episode in a series of such statements. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson first raised the issue of peaceful regime change at a congressional hearing on June 14th. On July 7th, John Bolton, former US ambassador to the UN said the solution for the Middle East is regime change in Iran. US President Donald Trump and US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, have made very similar statements.

During only a few months of 1988, 30, 000 political prisoners were systematically executed in a horrific purge. Prisoners, including teenagers as young as 14, were loaded onto trucks in groups and hanged from cranes.

Can France Unite With US Against Iran?

London, 14 Jul – France was one the first countries to send business delegations and enter into new trade agreements with Iran following the implementation of the Iran nuclear deal, or Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

US President Donald Trump is famous for describing the JCPOA as “the worst deal ever negotiated.” As he joined his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron, in a press conference in Paris on Thursday, Trump said, “Today we face new threats from rogue regimes like North Korea, Iran, and Syria, and the governments that finance and support them.”

Iran’s Evin Prison Tour Shows Limited, Distorted View

London, 14 Jul – The Iranian authorities recently arranged a rare visit for representatives of up to 45 foreign diplomatic missions from Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, to see the notorious Evin prison. Tehran conceded that the tour was an exhibit meant to counter negative reports about the prison, and display what they called the “excellent facilities”, including an in-house beauty salon, gym, library and restaurant.
