London, 6 November – On November 3, the National Council of Resistance of Iran reported that on November 4, the anniversary of the occupation of the United States embassy in Tehran, the deputy commander in chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps’ (IRGC), Hossein Salami, spoke abut the mullah’s rule that, “today reaches to the North of the Red Sea in the Bab-el-Mandeb, is present in Yemen, and geographically extends to North Africa.” He also stated that the regime’s “presence in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen… is to keep the danger away from our land.”

London, 5 November – In his November 4 article for the Washington Examiner, Amir Basiri writes about the incentive that the Iranian regime now has to take hostages for ransom. 

Basiri asks what brought us to a situation where Foreign nationals and people of dual nationalities have reason to fear being arrested and incarcerated in Iran now.  He blames a policy of appeasement and concessions to the Iranian regime.

London, 4 November – A member of the Islamic Iran Participation Front has acknowledged the failings of the mullah’s regime in Syria.

Mostafa Tajzadeh, a so-called reformist member, called the Iranian Regime’s involvement in the Syrian Civil War a “disaster” and said that Iran is stuck in “Syria’s Swamp”.
