London, 19 Sep – Earlier this month, the last 280 members of an Iranian opposition group were moved from Camp Liberty, Iraq to safety in Europe; a triumphant day for all involved.

Members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK) had been stuck in Camp Liberty for the past 14 years, since the beginning of the Iraq War.

London, 16 Sep – After 13 years of work to protect the members and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) in Camp Ashraf, and in later Camp Liberty in Iraq, all members and supporters have officially been accepted by the government of Albania and all have been moved to that country.

Homa Hoodfar, a 65-year-old woman who taught at Montreal’s Concordia University, has been held at Tehran’s notorious Evin prison since June 6.

London, 15 Sep – A member of the Iranian regime’s parliament has pointed out the plight of schools in the villages of Izeh, saying, “it’s worrying that after 37 years from the revolution, the students of these towns have to study in animal shelters.”
