London, 8 Jul – The Bishop of Gloucester is one of 80 church leaders who signed a public statement calling on governments to condition any relations with Iran with an end to the persecution of Christians and religious minorities, according to the Church of England Newspaper.

London, Jul 8 – Marc Ginsberg, the former White House Middle East Adviser, has dismissed the idea that Iran’s nuclear agreement could lead to a moderate Iran. He said that there the oppressive military dictatorship is anything but moderate.
In an article for the World Post, he said: “Iran is undeniably under the control of the Revolutionary Guards and their political hacks within the Ayatollah Khamenei’s clerical politburo.”

As we approach the first anniversary of the Iranian nuclear deal, tens of thousands of activists and Iranian dissidents are set to rally this Saturday in Paris, calling for Tehran’s nefarious conduct at home and in the region to be tackled. One of the primary messages at this rally will be to condemn Iran’s role in the massacre of the Syrian people and to demand an end to its assistance to the Assad government.

Iran has threatened to restart its nuclear program, to pressure the United States to release money to the terrorist regime. Alaeddin Boroujerdi, head of the national security and foreign policy committee in Majlis (the mullahs’ parliament), warned that Tehran would “resume large-scale uranium enrichment” if the regime doesn’t get the financial resources and support for its economy it desires.

London, 7 Jul – Californian Congresswoman Judy Chu has made a video statement in which she decries the Iranian regime for its human rights abuses.
She said: “For too long Iran’s theocratic rulers have repressed their people and threaten others, already Iran is a world leader in executions second only to China, but now the leaders there are adopting increasingly cruel and inhumane punishments like blinding prisoners with acid or removing their eyes. This is an affront to the peaceful and open Iran that [the Resistance represents].”

London, 7 Jul – Californian Congressman Ed Royce has stated in a video that the Iranian Regime has put the country in reverse and caused it to regress in terms of human rights.
He said: “This regime has taken the country in reverse, recent reports found that under President Rouhani, the government of Iran has incarcerated hundreds of political prisoners and prisoners of conscience while executing nearly 1,000 people last year and that’s why my colleagues and I in Congress continue to press for sanctions on senior Iranian officials involved in these human rights abuses.”

London, 7 Jul – In a public statement, following Monday’s missile bombardment on Camp Liberty in Iraq, Amnesty International said the camp’s “residents must be protected from attacks.” Its 6 July statement also called for “an independent, impartial and prompt investigation into the 4 July rocket attack on the camp, which is home to Iranian exiles.”
