London, 28 Jun – Many sectors of society in Iran are discriminated against by Iran, including religious and ethnic minorities and women. Human rights watch and the Center for Human Rights in Iran have also drawn attention to the discrimination against people with disabilities.

The two organisations released a 71-page report detailing the extent of the problem in Iran. The document is entitled “‘I am Equally Human’: Discrimination and Lack of Accessibility for People with Disabilities in Iran” and it highlights that the public transport system, healthcare centres, government offices and many more places are inaccessible to people with disabilities.

London, 28 Jun – Donald Trump’s decision to pull the United States out of the fatally flawed nuclear deal with Iran has been met with hysteria from the mainstream media and European politicians, but this should not be surprising. The media dislikes Trump and Europe is making millions from trade with Iran.

This deal, which was never ratified as a treaty by the Senate, was a diplomatic disaster. The mullahs never intended to fulfil their promises, there were no real safeguards in place to make sure that they did, and so it should come as no surprise that Iran has violated the deal.

Iran’s Parliament Is Led by the Supreme Leader, Not the President

London, 28 Jun – Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei opposed a bill, proposed by President Hassan Rouhani, about joining the International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism, on June 20, claiming that it would undermine Iran’s independence.

This left no doubt that Khamenei was against the bill, even though Speaker of Parliament Ali Larijani had previously claimed that the Supreme Leader had no opinion on the bill and that the MPs would be allowed to decide whether to vote for or against on their own. In opposing the bill, Khamenei had directly intervened in the legislative process.

PMOI/MEK: The Main Threat for the Iranian Regime

PMOI/MEK: The Main Threat for the Iranian Regime

By Jubin Katiraie

Over the past four decades, one of the cornerstones of regime’s strategy to remain in power has been to push the idea that there’s no other alternative for the Iranian people than the current regime itself, so the people have to get along with it anyway.

In line with the strategy, regime claimed that it had physically eliminated the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) as their only rival. But when the organization continued to exist and stabilize, the regime launched a propaganda campaign this time, claiming out of weakness that the MEK has no place among Iranian people and that people will choose the Iranian regime over the MEK anytime.

Support MEK’s call for change and end Iran’s destruction of the Middle East

By Jubin Katiraie

The Iranian Mullahs are destroying the Middle East through their constant intervening in the domestic affairs of other nation states, sponsorship of terrorism, and ruthless prolonging of civil conflicts, like in Syria and Yemen, but there is a solution.

The Iranian Resistance group, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), advise that the only way to end the Mullahs’ destruction is to evict the mullahs from the Middle East through toppling of the Mullahs, by and for the people of Iran.

London, 27 Jun – A law that was issued in 1970 allows the Director General of the General Security or the interior minister to take certain steps in special circumstances. The Lebanese general security recently based a controversial decision on this law. It was decided that Iranian passports would not to stamp upon arrival in Beirut — entry cards were stamped instead. This recent measure expanded the category of these “special cases” to cover all Iranians entering the country.

Many Iranians believe that visiting Lebanon may make them appear suspicious, and so, avoiding the passport stamp keeps visits private.
