London, 26 Mar – It seems quite obvious that Donald Trump will pull out of the 2015 Iranian Nuclear Agreement on the May 12 deadline. After all, he’s already appointed noted Iran hawks CIA chief Mike Pompeo and former UN ambassador John Bolton to the positions of Secretary of State and National Security Advisor respectively.

These men are more than familiar with the aggression and expansionism of Iran and they know how vital US action against Iran will be to America’s allies in the Middle East.

UN Human Rights Council Extends Mandate for Special Rapporteur to Iran

London, 26 Mar – The United Nation’s Human Rights Council has adopted a resolution to extend the mandate of a Special Rapporteur to monitor the situation of human rights in Iran, according to Iran’s state-run news agency IRNA.

IRNA reported: “Adopted along with five other resolutions in a meeting in Geneva on Friday, the resolution on Iran extended by a period of one year the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran.”

This means that a Special Rapporteur will be appointed to submit a report on human rights under Iran to the UNHRC during its 40th session and to the UN General Assembly at its 73rd session.

During his televised address to the country, he called on the people to buy locally rather than import goods from abroad.

However, a mockery was made of his speech when it became clear that Iran’s officials do not follow this advice. Even the Supreme Leader himself does not buy locally.

London, 24 Mar – Hamas has increased its relationship with Iran and its puppet militia Hezbollah, whilst also consulting with Russia and China, in an attempt to destroy Donald Trump’s plans for peace in the Middle East, according to Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip.

On Thursday, one source told the London-based Al Hayat newspaper: “Hamas is working to forge a Palestinian-Arab-Islamic alliance that would be able to confront Trump’s plan. Discussions with Iran and Hezbollah on this matter have gone a long way.”

Apparently, Hamas, Iran, and Hezbollah, believe that Trump’s plan will be “dangerous”, but it is likely that what they mean is dangerous for Iran and its many terrorist proxies.

London, 24 Mar – In a recent op-ed Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif has called for greater regional cooperation to ensure a prosperous, peaceful, and more secure future for the Middle East, but the problem is that Iran is the cause of many of the region’s woes.

Zarif’s op-ed doesn’t mention a much-needed shift in Iranian policy in order to achieve these goals and really no one should have expected that he would. Instead, he seems content to shift the blame, onto other countries and indeed the people of the Middle East.

On Wednesday, Israeli officials confirmed that their government was responsible for the 2007 strike that destroyed a suspected Syrian nuclear facility. NBC News quoted Intelligence Minister Israel Katz as saying via Twitter, “The operation and its success made it clear that Israel would never allow nuclear weapons to those who threaten its existence.” He added that whereas Syria filled that role and qualified as a justified target in 2007, Iran fills the same role now. The long-delayed admission of Israeli responsibility for the strike was thus viewed as an explicit warning to Iran in the wake of increased tensions between the two Middle Eastern rivals and increased uncertainty about the future of the nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers.
