President Trump Calls on Gulf Arab States to Reunite With Qatar to Counter Iran Threat

London, 11 Sep – Yesterday, President of the United States Donald Trump called on Saudi Arabia and other Arab States to unite with Qatar once again, resolve their issues, and show that they are united against Iran.

He spoke separately with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. He said that as US Arab partners, he wanted them to move together to promote stability in the region and to counter the threat that Iran is currently posing.

North Korea and Iran Are Collaborating on Ballistic Missiles

London, 8 Sep – Political analyst Faisal Al-Shammeri wrote an op-ed for Al Arabiya, entitled “North Korean nukes and the Iranian Nexus”, in which he discussed the troubling relationship between Iran and North Korea, and how, as a result, North Korea poses a threat to the Middle East.

Shammeri explains that we can deduce that North Korea is working with another country on their ballistic missile programme thanks to both the mobile launchers and the nuclear-missile nose cones used in the latest inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM) tests conducted by Pyongyang.

Press Freedom Organisation Condemns Iran for Inhumane Treatment of Journalists

London, 8 Sep – An organisation dedicated to freedom of the press and fighting for the rights of journalists all over the world have condemned the Iranian Regime’s treatment of a journalist and political prisoner, which caused him to lose half of his face.

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) released a statement about Alireza Rajaee, a board member of the Association of Iranian Journalists, who has recently undergone a long delayed treatment for cancer, which cost him his right eye and part of his face.

Iran Threatens to Attack the US in Iraq

London, 8 Sep – Iranian—backed Hezbollah militias have threatened to start attacking US troops once the so-called Islamic State has been driven out of Iraq.

The message to America: Leave Iraq or face war with Iran.

A commander of the Kata’ib Hezbollah forces, one of the largest and most violent Iranian proxy groups, issued this threat via the Iranian Regime- affiliated Fars News Agency on Sunday.

Princeton University Still Working for Release of Doctoral Student Held Hostage by Iran Regime

London, 8 Sep – Princeton University is reportedly working on a daily basis to free their doctoral student held hostage in Iran.

Xiyue Wang, a fourth-year history graduate student, travelled to Iran in 2016 to do research for his dissertation and was imprisoned by the Regime for spying.

Princeton University released a statement, which noted that Wang, 37, had been “unjustly imprisoned” and that the Regime had extorted Wang out of nearly $12,000.

Iran’s Azadi Stadium Website Hacked — “Let Iranian Women Enter Their Stadiums” Demanded

London, 8 Sep – On Wednesday, a day after female lawmakers were permitted to attend the World Cup qualifier against Syria, the website of Iran’s main stadium was hacked. This came with a demand that women be allowed to watch football matches.

During Tehran’s Azadi stadium last-minute equaliser by the visiting team, at least two female lawmakers were present. This is believed to be the first time Iranian women were allowed to watch a men’s match since the 1979 Islamic revolution.

ISNA news agency reported on the next day that the stadium website had been hacked, and a banner appeared for several hours across the front page, saying, “Let Iranian women enter their stadiums”.

Turks Charged in United States for Conspiring to Violate Iran Sanctions

London, 7 Sep – Earlier this week, federal prosecutors in the United States announced that a new indictment had been filed. The indictment charges a former economy minister from Turkey, and three other Turks, with involvement in a conspiracy to violate US sanctions against Iran.

These charges have been expanded from an existing case that had gained interest from Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, and Rudy Giuliani, former Mayor of New York City and informal advisor to President Trump, as well as some senior members of Trump’s administration.

Iran Is Thwarted in Yemen

London, 7 Sep – Iran’s plans to take over Yemen have been thwarted by the Arab coalition forces, according to the Yemeni Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin Daghr.

Bin Daghr said that the Yemeni army, supported by the Saudi-led coalition forces in operation “Decisive Storm”, is currently in control of 85 percent of the territories in Yemen and is heading towards a great victory against the Iranian foe.
