London, 13 Dec – Reports of atrocities against large numbers of civilians, including women and children, in the Syrian city of Aleppo, have alarmed UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, his spokesman said Monday.Ban has asked his envoy Staffan de Mistura to follow up.

London, 13 Dec – Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), regarding the crime against humanity in Aleppo and the continuation of savage bombings and massacre of innocent people in the streets of this city, said:
This is the biggest crime against humanity of the 21st century and it is being perpetrated by Khamenei, the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), their mercenaries and the Assad regime.

London, 13 Dec – Some reports indicate that there are around 70,000 Iranian soldiers fighting in Iran. Other reports suggest that the number is double this – in excess of 140,000. Whatever the number is, Iran has been sending manpower in the form of its own troops and also militias to Syria, and has been footing the bill for it. The regime wants to control Aleppo and is nearly there; thanks to Russia. At the same time, Syrian dictator Assad has been using chemicals and gas to get rid of inhabitants in order to vacate the area.

London, 12 Dec – The son of the late former deputy Supreme Leader Ayatollah Hussein-Ali Montazeri, Ahmed Montazeri, was sentenced to six years in prison last month. He was charged by Iran’s Special Court of Clerics for “revealing state secrets” and “acting against national security” among others. What he really did was post an audio recording of his father condemning the “death committee” which ordered the mass murder of around 30,000 political prisoners in 1988. He told the members of the death committee that they were committing the “biggest crime in the Islamic Republic” that will go down in history.

London, 12 Dec – Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau and his government are discretely working towards striking a deal with Iran. When he became Prime Minister he lifted nearly all economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
It was reported that Foreign Affairs Minister Stephane Dion met with officials of the Iranian regime during the UN General Assembly meeting held in September to discuss the relations between Iran and Canada.

London, 10 Dec – Hardline Republicans, who were critical of the Obama administration’s outreach to Iran throughout his presidency were optimistic as they took over a Senate caucus room on Thursday to promote their cause. This is because they believe that the incoming administration under Donald Trump, understands the threat posed by the Iranian regime far better than President Obama did.
David R. Sands writes in an article for the Washington Times on December 8, that Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain and Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez, member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, were among the lawmakers saying that Mr. Trump and his team will be skeptical of Iran and ready to call out any violations of the nuclear deal Mr. Obama helped negotiate in 2015.
