Akbar Ranjbar Zadeh, a member of the Regime’s Parliament, called the renewal of US sanctions against the regime a “breach of JCPOA and violation of international law”.

They were protesting against poor living conditions and low wages and pension benefits.

Trump administration’s foreign policy vis-à-vis Iran needs to be firm

Shahriar Kia, for American Thinker, said that Iran’s lobbying groups in Washington are doing their best to influence Trump’s foreign policy with regards to the Iranian regime.

They want Obama’s appeasement policy to continue under Donald Trump’s presidency. Kia said that the “campaign is bent on convincing Trump and his cabinet that an Iran regime-change policy will strengthen the ‘hardliners’ and weaken the ‘moderates’”.

Mattis as Secretary of Defense Is Bad News for Iran Deal

James Mattis was commander of U.S. Central Command for the Obama administration but was forced to retire five months early because he was too aggressive with regards to Iran. So his nomination by President-elect Donald Trump as secretary of defense will probably cause some uproar with the Iran nuclear deal, said Saagar Enjeti for The Daily Caller.

Although Mattis was not against the actual deal, he did raise his concerns about how the deal would work in the long run.

Iran Issue Will Not Stop Once Obama Leaves Office in January

London, 3 Dec – Ahead of Thursday’s Senate vote on sanctions against Iran, a high-ranking Democratic Senator gave a speech criticising the nuclear deal and imploring the extension of sanctions against Iran.

Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., a veteran member of Congress and former chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, has in the past criticised Obama’s handling of Cuba, Syria and the Russians, and believes that he has been punished for expressing these views.

Reverse the Disastrous Appeasement Policy on Iran

London, 3 Dec – Iranian opposition leader Maryam Rajavi stated that the appeasement policy with Iran must end as it only allows the elites to prosper at the expense of the public.

Rajavi made that point at a conference in Paris on November 26. The conference, named “Call for Justice: Ending Impunity for Perpetrators of Crimes Against Humanity in Iran and Syria,” attracted politicians and lawmakers from Europe and the middle east.
