London, 5 Dec – A human rights charity has urged the EU to disclose whether it is helping to fund an Iranian anti-narcotics programmes linked to mass executions.
Reprieve are concerned that the EU and its member states could be funding UN programmes that support the Iranian drug police, who are linked to hundreds of executions.

London, 4 Dec – On Saturday December 3, Saudi Arabia’s al-Madineh newspaper wrote: “Dr. Mohammad Saeed al-Saedi, Yemen’s minister of planning and international cooperation, with a fierce attack on Iranian regime said the regime has been planning to establish a military base in Yemen since Khomeini’s era. Currently, the regime in Iran is planning to completely dominate the region and is trying to invade the region by exporting something called (the so-called) Islamic Revolution.

Tehran, 4 Dec – Sunday December 4, 2016, while Hassan Rouhani was making speech in regime’s parliament, retired teachers held a pre-planned and timed protest gathering in front of the building.
They were protesting against poor living conditions and low wages and pension benefits.

London, 4 Dec – The Iranian regime was stirred by the news that Donald Trump has been elected President of the United States. Shahriar Kia, for American Thinker, said that Iran’s lobbying groups in Washington are doing their best to influence Trump’s foreign policy with regards to the Iranian regime.
They want Obama’s appeasement policy to continue under Donald Trump’s presidency. Kia said that the “campaign is bent on convincing Trump and his cabinet that an Iran regime-change policy will strengthen the ‘hardliners’ and weaken the ‘moderates’”.

London, 4 Dec – Retired Marine Gen. James Mattis was commander of U.S. Central Command for the Obama administration but was forced to retire five months early because he was too aggressive with regards to Iran. So his nomination by President-elect Donald Trump as secretary of defense will probably cause some uproar with the Iran nuclear deal, said Saagar Enjeti for The Daily Caller.
Although Mattis was not against the actual deal, he did raise his concerns about how the deal would work in the long run.

London, 3 Dec – Ahead of Thursday’s Senate vote on sanctions against Iran, a high-ranking Democratic Senator gave a speech criticising the nuclear deal and imploring the extension of sanctions against Iran.
Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., a veteran member of Congress and former chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, has in the past criticised Obama’s handling of Cuba, Syria and the Russians, and believes that he has been punished for expressing these views.

London, 3 Dec – Iranian opposition leader Maryam Rajavi stated that the appeasement policy with Iran must end as it only allows the elites to prosper at the expense of the public.
Rajavi made that point at a conference in Paris on November 26. The conference, named “Call for Justice: Ending Impunity for Perpetrators of Crimes Against Humanity in Iran and Syria,” attracted politicians and lawmakers from Europe and the middle east.

Tehran, 3 Dec – The head of the coordination council of the extremist “Hezbollah of Tehran” group has claimed in his official Instagram page that there have been ‘immoral’ relationships between a woman and five ministers in Hassan Rouhani’s cabinet.
The so-called “Martyrs of Iran” news network wrote on 29 November: “Hossein Allah Karam named a woman by her initials as A.Ch. that led to the resignation of a minister.”

London, 2 Dec – Now that the end is in sight for the Obama administration, the Iranian regime, Iran apologists and Iranian regime lobbies are concerned about the continuation of the appeasement policy. Amir Basiri, an Iranian human rights activist, said in the Washington Examiner that those wanting rapprochement with Tehran are setting propaganda in motion.

London, 2 Dec – Iran wants to establish naval bases in Yemen and/or Syria according to a high ranking military official.
Iranian General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri told a crowd of Iranian naval commanders that they needed distant bases on the shores of other foreign countries like Syria and Yemen, or even “floating” bases.
