London, 12 Dec – The Iranian Resistance and their allies held a major protest in Paris on Monday, December 11, against the Iranian Regime’s expert human rights abuses and executions.

The demonstration, which marked International Human Rights Day on December 10, was attended by many high-ranking people from Europe and the Middle East and was concluded after four hours with a resolution in support of the Iranian people and their call for an end to the mullah’s regime.

One of the key people to address the rally was Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

London, 12 Dec – The President of Iran has praised terrorists in an address to the mullahs’ parliament (Majlis) on Sunday, December 10.

Hassan Rouhani, wrongly described as a moderate by some in the West, described the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its mercenary militias across the Middle East (Hezbollah, the Houthis, Hamas) as “an element of security” in the region.

He said: “I kiss the hands of the combatants of Islam and the combatants of resistance… They secured Syria. They secured Lebanon. God willing in future, they will also secure Yemen. They are endeavouring full force to make the region secure… Today is the day when we must get actively engaged in the region, economically, culturally, and politically.”

London, 12 Dec – The Iranian administration and carmakers living under it- are far behind the rest of the world when it comes to innovation according to the executive vice president of PSA Group for Africa and the Middle East.

Jean Christophe Quémard told Iranian automotive magazine Khodro Emroz: “The global auto industry has reached a watershed. Autonomous cars and electric vehicles [or EVs] are crucial topics in the global auto industry. However, it seems that none of the senior Iranian decision-makers are interested.”

He continued: “I have visited Tehran several times in recent months, but never have I come across a single person among officials and automakers who have coherent thoughts about the ongoing changes in the auto industry.”

London, 11 Dec – Iran’s decision to transfer an imprisoned American doctoral student within Evin prison has increased fears for his safety, according to Human Rights Watch.

Xiyue Wang, a Princeton Ph.D. student and US citizen, was moved to Ward 7, where a Taliban inmate threatened him in the presence of a guard, on December 6, according to a valuable source.

That source told Human Rights Watch that this same inmate had previously made a threat on Wang’s life when they were both detained in Ward 209, which led to the Taliban inmate’s transfer to a different cell.

London, 11 Dec – An international security conference has reaffirmed the importance of tackling the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen and all other Iranian forces who are supporting terrorism and destabilising the Middle East.

The Manama Dialogue 2017, held in Bahrain this weekend, brought together security and military experts to discuss the joint threats of extremism and terrorism.

Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa explained that the stability and security of the region faced many challenges, especially with the support that terrorists receive from Iran.

He will take over the role of the current deputy assistant secretary for Iran – Chris Backmeyer – who was the deputy coordinator for sanctions policy at the State Department and National Security Council director on Iran from 2012 to 2014 for the Obama administration.

Peek is a former U.S. Army intelligence officer who was a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a member of the State Department transition team for the president.
