London, 27 October – Iran has jailed yet another Iranian-American for collaboration with a “hostile government” (i.e. The US).
Gholamrez Reza Shahini, who is nicknamed Robin, was sentenced to 18 years in prison during a secret trial last Saturday.

London, 27 October – Iran has yet again tried to defend its actions in Syria, where it props up the Bashar al-Assad Regime and helps to slaughter the Syrian Resistance forces.
At a ceremony to commemorate the members of Iranian military force, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), who have died in the Syrian Civil War, Mohmmad Ali Jaafari, head of the IRGC described the murder of innocent civilians as “defending the sanctity of the leader and revolution”.

London, 26 October – On October 24, in an article about a conference set up by the British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom (BPCIF), which highlighted the on-going human rights violations in Iran and also commemorated of the victims of the 1988 executions, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) writes that Matthew Offord, MP for Hendon is leading calls for the UK to condemn human rights violations in Iran.

London, 26 October – The US House of Representatives are planning a mid-November vote on reauthorizing the Iran Sanctions Act for another decade.
The Iran Sanctions Act, which is due to expire on December 31, allows trade, energy, defence and banking industry sanctions on Iran if they continue expanding their nuclear program and testing ballistic missile.

London, 26 October – The expansionist goals of the Iranian Regime are not a sign of strength but of weakness and need to be dealt with, according to a Saudi columnist.
Dr. Mohammad al-Sulami, an expert on Iranian political affairs and the head of the Iranian-Arabic Studies, wrote an article in Alwatan Saudi Newspaper, accusing the mullahs of stealing the 1978 revolution from the Iranian people.

London, 25 October – On Monday, Wikileaks released information that John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s chairman, asked her to take out a line from one of her speeches. This line suggested that fighting the Islamic State (ISIS) and the Iranian regime are “intimately related” missions. The speech was delivered at the Brookings Institute’s Saban Forum in 2015, with this line missing.

London, 25 October – This weekend a speech by Hillary Clinton was made public on WikiLeaks. On October 28, 2013, she voiced her skepticism over Iran and attempts to portray their current president Hassan Rouhani as ‘moderate’.
Speaking to members of the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, just after Obama’s historic phone call to Rouhani, she said: “I believe that Rouhani was allowed to be elected by the two major power sources in Iran, the supreme leader and the clerics and the Revolutionary Guard … in part because the sanctions were having a quite damaging effect on the economy.”

London, 25 October – There may be no way to save Iran’s most historic lake from the drought plaguing the country.
Rouhani’s government, who have spent years ignoring the problem, recently invited environmental scientists from Europe and Asia to advise on the crisis of Lake Urmia, but there are doubts on how effective this can be following the neglect by the Regime.
