Iran Focus

London, 18 Nov – At the beginning of the month, Prime Minister of Lebanon Saad Hariri travelled to the capital of Saudi Arabia and announced his resignation. During the speech in which he announced his resignation he said that Iran was one of the main factors in his decision.

It is very clear that he did it for his own safety. After all, there is a history of Hezbollah critics being assassinated. This is very close to Saad Hariri heart, because his own father, a critic of Hezbollah, was assassinated in 2005.

However, it is also evident that he went to Saudi Arabia because he wants to save his people from the clutches of Hezbollah.

London, 18 Nov – On Tuesday, Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) announced that a credit ban has been imposed on Iran’s Bank Sepah for violating the country’s credit law. Previously, the UN, US and EU had sanctioned Bank Sepah over its role in Iran’s illicit missile procurement activities.

On Friday, BaFin spokeswoman, Sabine Reimer, told news media that “a credit ban against Bank Sepah’s branch in Frankfurt was imposed because the institution violated the requirements of the rules of a business organization according to paragraph 25a of the lending law.” However, Reimer could not provide additional information due to her obligation to secrecy. According to BaFin, the ban on credit went into effect on October 13th.

London, 17 Nov – The Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al Jubeir said that his country’s actions across the Middle East were a reaction to the aggressiveness of the Iranian Regime and warned Iran’s mullahs that “enough is enough”.

Currently the Sunni Kingdom and the Shiite Regime are fighting each other on several fronts across the region, most notably in Yemen and Lebanon.

Al Jubeir said: “Any way you look at it, they (the Iranians) are the ones who are acting in an aggressive manner. We are reacting to that aggression and saying, ‘Enough is enough. We’re not going to let you do this anymore’.”

Iran: The Fight for Sinjar

Iran Focus

London, 17 Nov – Sinjar in Iraq is proving to be a very wanted area. PKK (the Kurdistan Workers Party), Turkey and Iran all have their eyes on this area because it is strategically important to each of them, but in different ways.

Turkey is bombing all PKK positions to gain control over its strongholds. The country’s President said at the beginning of November that unless the authorities resolve the issues in Qandil and Sinjar, Turkey would “raze those places to the ground”. Turkey sees the PKK as a terrorist organisation, as does the European Union and the United States.

London, 16 Nov – The Iranian Regime is desperately trying to cover up its responsibility in the large-scale destruction that followed Sunday’s earthquake by downplaying the extent of the damage, suppressing the people, and refusing outside offers of help.

The Regime wants to suppress their people’s legitimate protest and anger over the disaster, so they sent in suppressive government forces like the Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) led by Mohammad Ali Jafari and the Basij led by Ali Fazli, rather than aid conveys and the emergency services.

London, 16 Nov – The French energy giant Total has said that it would have to review its deals with Iran if the US decides to impose new unilateral sanctions on the rogue state because of Total’s assets in the US.

On Monday, November 13, Total’s CEO, Patrick Pouyanne, told CNNMoney’s Emerging Markets: “Either we can do the deal legally if there is a legal framework. If we cannot do that for legal reasons, because of change of regime of sanctions, then we have to revisit it.”

London, 16 Nov – Thirty-seven-year-old Zuhair Ebrahim Jassim Abdullah Abas was arrested by Bahraini authorities. The terror suspect was apprehended on charges relating to the attack on a police bus that killed police officer Salman Anjam and wounded nine others near the kingdom’s capital.

The authorities in Bahrain were also able to identify a cell that is being backed by Iran and they discovered several plots that it was involved in. One plot involved bombings in oil pipelines.

The chief of public security in Bahrain confirmed during a press conference earlier this week that Abas had been arrested. It has also been reported that his partner has fled to Iran.

Iranian Regime Tries to Cover Devastating Reality of Earthquake Disaster

London, 16 Nov – In the aftermath of the horrific tragedy that struck Iran late on Sunday, the Iranian regime has all but abandoned the people that need help urgently. After the devastating earthquake hit the country, the Iranian government, bar a few sympathetic tweets, has failed to react appropriately. Instead, it is trying to cover up the reality of the devastation and is trying to suppress the demonstrations that are taking place in solidarity of all those affected.

The people of Iran are angry, and quite rightly so. After the earthquake, instead of sending help in the form of convoys and forces, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Mohammad Ali Jafari and the Basij force commander Ali Fazli were sent.

London, 15 Nov – As ISIS is rapidly losing ground in Syria and Iraq, the Iranian Regime is helping the world’s most well-known terrorist group come back from the ashes.

We now know that the Iranian Regime has made a secret pact with Al-Qaeda to rebuild the terrorist group and help it prepare for phase two.

This shocking information was revealed in an investigative report by The Atlantic, which featured interviews with several of Osama bin Laden’s family members and Al-Qaeda members, published just days after the CIA declassified documents from the 2011 raid on bin Laden’s Pakistan complex, in which bin Laden died.
