Somalia Asks for US Help to Stop Militant Selling Uranium to Iran

London, 2 Sep – The Somali government has asked the US for “immediate military assistance”, revealing that its al-Shabab militants are plotting to supply uranium to the Iranian Regime.

Somali Foreign Minister Yusuf Garaad Omar wrote a letter to the US Ambassador to Somalia Stephen Schwartz, to say that the militants had captured “critical surface exposed uranium deposits” in Galmudug, central Somalia, and intend to smuggle the uranium to Iran.

Omar wrote: “The time for surgical strikes and limited engagement has passed, as Somalia’s problems have metastasized into the world’s problems. Every day that passes without intervention provides America’s enemies with additional material for nuclear weapons.”

Former Political Prisoner: We Will Not Give up on Justice for 1988 Iranian Massacre Victims

London, 1 Sep – A former Iranian political prisoner has written an op-ed for the International Business Times on the fight for justice for the victims of the 1988 massacre in which 30,000 people were murdered by the Iranian Regime.

Massoumeh Raouf, a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, advised that the international community join the fight for justice and demand that those responsible are tried for crimes against humanity.

Raouf, who currently lives in exile in Europe, lost her brother in the horrific massacre and revealed the heartbreaking tale of how she found out about his death.

London, 1 Sep – Russian involvement in the Syrian Civil War in support of the Bashar Assad dictatorship has deeply impacted on their relations with Middle Eastern countries; meaning that they are further distanced from the countries fighting on behalf of the Syrian people and more closely linked with Iran.

The Iranian Regime has supported Russian military involvement and praised the Russian for their support of a fragile dictatorship which would have been overthrown by its own people long ago if not for outside intervention.

Iranian Disaster Relief Doctor Begins Trial for Bogus National Security Charges

London, 1 Sep – An Iranian doctor specialising in medicine for disaster relief who was arrested by the Regime seventeen months ago has finally had his day in court.

Dr. Ahmad Reza Jalali, a physician and researcher who teaches at Vrije University Brussel (VUB) in Belgium, appeared before Revolutionary Court Judge Abolghasem Salavati, who has been cited by the European Union for violations of human rights, on Wednesday August 23.

Jalali, who was working to develop disaster relief training courses for the EU, was arrested for “collaborating with an enemy state” on April 24, 2016, after being invited to visit Tehran University.

He has always denied the charges.

Dr. Maleki Promises to Fight for the Iranian People’s Rights

Dr. Mohammad Maleki, the Iranian academic, human rights advocate and former president of the University of Tehran, issued a statement on the anniversary of the horrific 1988 massacre, a crime against humanity that resulted in the death of more than 30,000 political prisoners.

Maleki, who has been arrested and imprisoned several times for his activism, vowed to never stop seeking justice for the victims of the crime that was perpetrated by the Iranian regime. He said he would campaign until his “last breath”.

Iran Regime Is Building Weapons Factories in Lebanon and Syria

London, 30 Aug – The Iranian Regime is building advanced weapons factories in Lebanon and Syria, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told the United Nations secretary general, Antonio Guterres.

Netanyahu insists that he is very concerned about Iran’s efforts to produce advanced, precision weapons in Lebanon and Syria.

During a press conference with Guterres, Netanyahu said: “Iran is busy turning Syria into a base of military entrenchment and it wants to use Syria and Lebanon as war fronts against its declared goal to eradicate Israel.”

Iran Scoffs as US Request for Inspection of Nuclear Sites

London, 30 Aug – The Iranian Regime has dismissed the US’s demand for an inspection of its military the sites by UN officials as mere dream and claimed that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would unlikely to agree.

Iranian government representative Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, said: “Iran’s military sites are off limits. All information about these sites is classified. Iran will never allow such visits. Don’t pay attention to such remarks that are only a dream.”

While Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said: “The International Atomic Energy Agency is very unlikely to accept America’s demand to inspect our military sites.”

US Must Provide Aid to Middle East Following Removal of ISIS to Prevent Iran Regime From Taking Over

London, 30 Aug – The US must provide aid in the Middle East following the removal of ISIS to prevent Iran from seizing power and further destabilising the region, according to an ex-CIA operative.

Frank Archibald, who was Director of the National Clandestine Service an assignment in which he led all of CIA’s operations worldwide, wrote an op-ed for the Cipher Daily, in which he assessed the liberation of Mosul presented the US with an opportunity to stabilise the region and challenge the Iranian Regime.

There is a tough fight ahead for peace in the Middle East, as acknowledged by Lt. General Stephen Townsend, the senior U.S. Commander in Iraq, as he congratulated the Iraqi government for their victory in Mosul.

Hamas Reveal That Iran Is Funding Them

London, 30 Aug – The new leader of the Hamas terrorist group has confirmed that the Iranian Regime is now supplying them with money and weapons, after their five-year rift had been repaired.

Iran was once Hamas’ top backer but broke off ties in 2012 when Hamas refused to support Iranian ally dictator Bashar Assad, in the Syrian civil war.

Yehiyeh Sinwar, who was made leader in February, said: “Today, the relationship with Iran is excellent, or very excellent. [They are] the largest backer financially and militarily [to Hamas’ military wing]”.
