London, 7 Jun – The US Senate is due to vote this week on bipartisan legislation which would expand the sanctions against Iran for its ballistic missile programme, human rights abuses, and support for terrorism and illegal arms transfers.
The procedural vote is due to happen on Wednesday and the final vote is due on Thursday, as arranged by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) on Monday.

London, 7 Jun – Ever since the Iranian Regime’s sham elections on May 19, Western pundits have fallen over themselves to declare that a “moderate” has won a second term in Iran and now, before Hassan Rouhani has even made an effort to fulfil his campaign promises, they are providing excuses for him when he inevitably fails to reform the Regime.

They are involved in numerous wars and fund sectarian conflicts in order to gain further control over the Middle East and achieve their goal on a Shi’ite Crescent from the Persian Gulf to the Medetteranian.
But should they really be considered a military threat?

London, 6 Jun – Mahmoud Hakamian, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), wrote a shocking piece on the rise of addiction among young people in Iran.
Drug addiction is a painful, debilitating illness that predominately affects the most marginalised in society, most notably the poor. There are many reasons for this but they are all related to disenfranchisement and discrimination and the ability of drugs to take away the pain for at least a period of time.

London, 6 Jun – The Iranian Regime is increasing its nuclear capabilities and stockpiling nuclear supplies in what seems to be the race to developing a nuclear missile.
According to the latest report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Iranian Regime is coming dangerously close to going over its threshold for heavy water, a chemical used in the production of nuclear weapons.

London, 6 Jun – The Iranian Regime and the Lebanon-based terror cell that it funds, Hezbollah, have long claimed to be “resisting” Israel, a country they refer to as the “Little Satan”, but their true aim is to continue to prop up the Syrian Regime during the Civil War.
They have both made threats against the Jewish state but are unlikely to carry them out because all of their military power is being directed towards helping Bashar Assad oppress his own people in Syria.

London, 6 Jun – Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have cut off economic and diplomatic ties with Qatar regarding its close links with the Iranian Regime, support for terrorist groups, and its foreign policy decisions.
Giorgio Cafiero, CEO and co-founder of Washington, DC-based Gulf State Analytics, and an analyst of Gulf Cooperation Council geopolitics, wrote a piece for Al-Arabiya in which he broke down what had happened to cause the rift and what could be done to solve it.

London, 6 Jun – Ever since Iran’s sham elections on May 19, many Western pundits have predicted sweeping changes to the Gulf country under the second term of Hassan Rouhani, but they fundamentally misunderstand the Regime if they believe that he will bring moderation to it.
Hassan Mahmoudi wrote an op-ed for Track Persia, in which he dispelled the idea that Rouhani has the power to fulfil even the smallest of progressive promises that he made during his campaign because the true power lies in supreme leader Ali Khamenei.

London, 6 Jun – The leader of the Iranian Resistance, Maryam Rajavi, advocated for the expulsion of the Iranian Regime and their terror squad, the Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) from the Middle East in order to achieve peace and stability.
Rajavi made this speech at the Interfaith Solidarity against Extremism gathering on Saturday, June 3, at the central office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran in Auvers-Sur-Oise, which was attended by prominent figures from around the Middle East, including Syria, Yemen, Palestine, Jordan, and Algeria.

London, 5 Jun – The Iranian Regime has reportedly been attempting to take control of Syrian land that the US-Arab alliance took back from the so-called Islamic State in order to create a land crossing between Iraq and Syria, through which to transport weapons, troops, and money, which may further bolster the Syrian dictator Bashar Assad or be diverted to terror groups.
