10 Iranian Provinces Fail Hijab Standards

London, 26 May – The Iranian Regime claims that 10 of its provinces have crossed what they refer to as a “Hijab red line” meaning that more women there are improperly veiled according to the Regime’s modesty police.

Ahmad Sehat Ghol, a director in Iran’s Islamic Media Organization, told the semi-official Tasnim news agency, on Wednesday that this constituted an “alarm bell” for the Regime.

A Turning Point for Iran?

London, 25 May – Iran’s penitentiary chief refers to a 333 percentage increase in prisoner figures between 1985 and 2017. Accordingto Tasnim agency, Asghar Jahangiri said on Monday that Iran holds the second place for prison population among Islamic countries and 6th among Asian countries. Saying that Iran’s world ranking is 41st he added: “prisoner population rate is 174 per100 thousand in Asia and 168 in the World. According to his statement, in Iran this number is 283 persons per 100 thousand.

London, 25 May – While Donald Trump has been on his inaugural tour of the Middle East, he has been very clear on his attitudes towards the Iranian Regime; attitudes that have been applauded and welcomed by the heads of state that he has met there.

It’s no surprise that Trump was critical of the Iranian Regime at the Arab Summit in Saudi Arabia, to which Iran was not invited.

Iran Refuses to Give up Ballistic Missiles Programme

London, 25 May – The Iranian Regime has revealed that they consider their ballistic missiles programme to be non-negotiable and indicated that they will not give up the programme for anything.

Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, a spokesman for the Regime, told reporters on Tuesday: “The Iranian nation has decided to be powerful. Our missiles are for peace and for defence … American officials should know that whenever we need to technically test a missile, we will do so and will not wait for their permission.”

US Treasury Reviewing Iran’s Aircraft Licence

London, 25 May – The head of the US Treasury Department has revealed that he is reviewing the licenses for Boeing Co and Airbus to sell aircraft to airlines affiliated with the Iranian Regime.

On Wednesday, Steven Mnuchin testified before the House of Representatives’ Ways and Means Committee that he would increase sanctions pressure on Iran, Syria and North Korea.

London, 24 May – As the US stalls on whether or not to label the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO), the Iranian Regime builds more terrorist training camps.

Colonel Wes Martin (ret.), who served as the first senior antiterrorism officer for all Coalition Forces in Iraq, wrote an op-ed for Forbes pleading with the US Congress and the Trump administration to speed up the designation of the IRGC as a terror group, before it is too late.
