IRGC Exporting Weapons Through Proxy Companies

London, 9 Mar – Iran’s terror squad, the Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), has been smuggling weapons and other illegal goods through three front companies to terrorists in Yemen.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) said that the money gathered helps the IRGC to fund terrorism at home and abroad.

Iran Regime Covers up Death of Over 10,000 IRGC Fighters in Syria

London, 8 Mar – At least 10,000 fighters from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) have died in Syria fighting for the Assad Regime but they are being secretly buried and their families are being told that the men are still alive, according to Iranian Resistance forces.

In order to trick the Iranian people into thinking that the war is going well, the Regime has only confirmed a small amount of the actual deaths.

Iran: A World Leader in Misogyny

London, 8 Mar – It’s hardly surprising that the Iranian Regime is misogynist; after all, they oppress religious minorities, people of different races, the LGBT community and political opponents (who are generally the ones advocating for fair, secular laws).

What was surprising was to hear the so-called moderate, President Hassan Rouhani, speak about women’s rights in Iran like he was somehow making things better; maybe he thinks that he’s doing his part for feminism by torturing and executing female political prisoners as well as male ones?

London, 8 Mar – Last weekend, Iran yet again launched anti-ship ballistic missiles, while Iranian fast attack boats behaved aggressively towards a United States Navy surveillance vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

This shows that Iran has failed to moderate its hostile behaviour despite sanctions against it from the US in January.

Maryam Rajavi on International Women’s Day and Iran’s Misogynistic Regime

London, 8 Mar – In commemoration of the International Women’s Day, Maryam Rajavi, leader of the Iranian Resistance made a speech about the role of women in dismantling the oppressive Iranian Regime.

She praised those women in Iran who are imprisoned for speaking their minds or promoting social change and assured them, that all members of the Iranian Resistance stand proudly by them.

Blacklisting IRGC Does Not Mean Another US-Led War in the Middle East

London, 8 Mar – If the US Congress votes to put the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) on the list of Foreign Terror Organisations, then it will not necessarily lead to another US-led war in the Middle East, according to the president of the European Iraqi Freedom Association (EIFA).

Struan Stevenson, who was previously a member of the European Parliament for Scotland, wrote an op-ed for UPI, in which he laid out the case for designating the IRGC as a terrorist entity.

Dozens Arrested in Iran for Attending Mixed-Gender Parties

London, 7 Mar – Dozens more young people have been arrested in Iran this weekend for attending mixed-gender parties.

One party held on Saturday, March 4, in the Southwestern province of Khuzestan, was raided by police who arrested 14 girls and 20 boys.

The previous day, Mohsen Khancharli, the Chief of Police in Western Tehran, announced that they had raided a hen party and arrested the organisers.

UN Publishes Report Into Human Rights in Iran

London, 7 Mar – The UN has released a report into human rights in Iran, written by Asma Jahangir, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

From the outset, it is clear that there has been no marked improvement in human rights in the Gulf nation, despite President Hassan Rouhani signing a Citizens’ Rights Charter in December 2016.
