Demonstration in Paris Unites the Syrian OppositionWith the Iranian Resistance

London, 19 Dec – On Saturday, December 17 a rally was held in front of the Iranian regime’s embassy at the invitation of the “Syrian Revolution Coordination” in Paris. Hundreds of Syrian people as well as members and supporters of the Iranian Resistance participated in the protest of the crimes against humanity which have been committed against innocent civilians of Aleppo.

This demonstration condemned Bashar Assad, Iran regime’s forces and mercenaries, and the attempts of the Iranian Guard to block the evacuation of civilians and militants from East Aleppo,

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) reported that the protesters waved the flags of the Syrian revolution and the flags of the Iranian resistance. They chanted slogans against Khamenei and Bashar al-Assad like, “ Down with Bashar Assad” and “Down with Khamenei” followed by, “Khamenei and Assad and Qassem Soleimani are the butchers of Syrian people are war criminals and must be submitted to justice”. There were shouts of, “Long live the Syrian revolution, long live the Free Syrian Army”, and “Expel the mullahs guards and militia mercenaries from Syria”.

American-Lebanese Citizen Launches Hunger Strike to Protest Illegal Arrest as Hostage

London, 19 Dec – An American-Lebanese citizen arrested by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has gone on a hunger protest against his illegal arrest, asking for his unconditional release. Nazar Zaka, a Lebanese diplomat who was arrested during an official trip to Tehran to attend an IT-related conference.

Zaka’s lawyer has issued a statement from the United States. In an article published by the National Council for Resistance of Iran, (NCRI) on December 18, his lawyer, Jason Pablet, says that his client has been on a hunger strike since December 8 in protest of his arrest, and his being be held as a hostage, as well as to draw attention to all of those illegally imprisoned in Iran. Zaka sent out an audio message from inside the prison, asking the Lebanese Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Director of General Security to intervene for his freedom after being held captive for more than 200 days.

Iran: GCC dismisses threats made by Iran as breech of UN Charter

London, 18 Dec – The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and other countries in the nation have objected to threats made by officials of the Iranian regime.

The GCC said that Iran would be violating diplomatic norms and also the United Nations principles of good neighbourliness and non-interference in the internal affairs of other nations.

The GCC, formed in 1981, includes the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar.

There Are Still 50,000 Civilians Trapped in Aleppo

London, 18 Dec – Danger and conflict have been rising in Aleppo since the ceasefire abruptly ended last week.

The Russian Government claimed that all civilians and democratic resistance forces have been evacuated; the only people left in the city are terrorists.

The Syrian Resistance forces, the Turkish Foreign Minister, and the United Nations counter that there are still thousands of civilians in Aleppo. Many civilians were forced to flee in fear for their lives when gunfire sounded as they tried to board buses out of the capital.

Iran Regime’s Money Laundering Through Venezuela

London, 18 Dec – Iran may have accepted an illegal payment from the Venezuelan government, which could undermine the recent renewal of US sanctions towards Iran.

An Iranian company provided works for the Venezuelan government and was reportedly paid $3 billion US, which led the US’s Attorney’s Office to suspect money laundering.

According to Armin Rosen at the Tablet, Iran and Venezuela are “natural allies” and share common enemies (Israel and the US).

London, 16 Dec – President Obama has used a rare constitution manoeuvre to allow a sanction bill for Iran to be legalised without his signature. It is the first time in over 21 years that this has happened. The Iran Sanctions Extension Act is now legal and is the latest in the Iran nuclear deal saga in which the United States and other world powers decided to reduce sanctions in exchange for commitments from Iran about its quest to produce a nuclear weapon.

How is it possible that they can ignore the heart-breaking images of innocent men, women and children suffering through this war in Syria?

Moderate rebel groups fighting for democracy have lost a stronghold – but they have not surrendered and their demands stand. They still want the Assad government ousted and they want foreign influences expelled immediately from Syria.

Iran Regime’s Leader Called for the Eradication of Israel

London, 15 Dec – The Supreme Leader of the Iranian Regime has called for the eradication of Israel, in the midst of a Twitter rant about how the United States should be blamed for the tragedy in Aleppo.

Ayatollah Ali Khameini, the supreme leader of the Regime since 1989, called on Muslims and Palestinians to fight the ‘Zionist Regime’ and threatened that the Jewish state would not exist in 25 years’ time.

Khameini also gave victory medals to Iranian troops who captured US soldiers, in a bizarre propaganda move designed to ‘humiliate’ the US.

Iran: Nearly 230 People Were Arrested for Attending Mixed Gender Parties

London, 15 Dec – On Tuesday evening, 120 men and women were arrested by the Iranian Regime’s Security Forces for attending a private party at a coffee shop, which featured two “underground” singers.

Also on Tuesday night, at least 30 young men and women were arrested by the “morality police” for attending a mixed-gender birthday party.

Shahin Gobadi of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) said: “The clerical regime has never been so isolated at home and loathed by the Iranian people, in particular by the youth and women.

As such, it is resorting to more and more repressive measures to confront this growing trend.”
