London, 13 Jun – The Canadian House of Commons passed a strongly-worded motion condemning Iran on Tuesday, after the Liberal Party sided with their Conservative opposition.

The Conservative motion, which is now supported by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, condemned Iran and called on the Canadian government to “abandon its current plan and immediately cease any and all negotiations or discussions” about restoring diplomatic relations, as well as listing the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist entity under Canada’s Criminal Code. The terrorist entity listing of the IRGC goes further than the US has at this point.

Iran’s Choices in Syria

London, 13 Jun – Given the turbulence of the Middle East at this point in modern history, it is remarkable that the region has not erupted into a large-scale conventional war, but there are rising fears that this may happen sooner rather than later.

The problem is Syria, where a civil war became the battleground for many regional foes.

Currently arch-rivals Iran and Israel are fighting in close proximity, but Israel wants Iran far away from its borders and ideally out of Syria altogether, while Iran will not budge and is determined to prop up the Bashar Assad dictatorship to the end.

London, 12 Jun – One of Iran’s largest oil customers has begun scaling back its oil purchases this month following the US withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear deal, which will soon see harsh nuclear sanctions reimposed in addition to the nonnuclear ones that are already being imposed.

Indian Refiner Nayara Energy – formerly known as Essar Oil – will now be limiting its import of oil from Iran to about 3-4 million barrels per month, according to a source familiar with the issue, whereas they’ve previously averaged 6 million barrels per month. This is equivalent to a 40-50% drop.

London, 12 Jun – The Syrian civil war has been going on for more than seven years. It would have ended years ago if Iran had not got involved.

Syria is currently in a state of disrepair and there are stories emerging every day showing more death and destruction. The cities are being destroyed and the people are losing their homes though displacement or damage.

President Barack Obama got the Russians involved in 2014 to get a grip on the chemical weapons used by President Bashar al Assad. A year later, Russia’s involvement had already grown tremendously.

Appalling Human Rights Situation in Iran

London, 12 Jun – The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) is the main opposition group to the Iranian Mullahs. And the only viable alternative. It has spent many years trying to improve the lives of millions of Iranians and it is working towards the goal of a free Iran where human rights are respected and democracy is the norm. On 30th June, it will hold its annual gathering in Paris, giving renewed hope to all those in Iran who are desperate for change.

Social injustice is common in Iran. The employment situation is dire and poverty is rife. Human rights are ignored and equality is inexistent.

Mohammad-Javad Larijani – the Secretary of the Iranian judiciary’s High Council for Human Rights

Iran Focus

London, 12 Jun – Although Iran has never outright admitted that it protected and harboured al-Qaeda terrorists, there have been suspicions and accusations for many years. Until now that is, when a top official and prominent member of the Iranian government – Mohammad-Javad Larijani – the Secretary of the Iranian judiciary’s High Council for Human Rights, admitted it in an interview.

In the interview that has just recently come to light, Larijani said that the Iranian intelligence service was fully aware and in control of al-Qaeda’s presence in the country.

Iran Is Losing Power in the Middle East

Iran is losing power in the Middle East

Iran Focus

London, 12 Jun – Iran’s Shiite Crescent across the Middle East is waning as the four Arab capitals that the mullahs recently boasted about controlling are turning against them.

Iran created chaos in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, largely through proxy terrorist groups, in order to destabilise them and take control. The mullahs wanted to subjugate the people of these nations and have them all bow down to the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In short, Iran’s control over these countries was basically colonialism by another name and, as with all colonial powers, Iran will be forced out.

London, 12 Jun – Iranian officials have finally admitted what most of the world knew all along – that Iran helped facilitate the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York by allowing al Qaeda operatives (including the hijackers) to move freely and secretly across Iran’s borders in the months leading up to the totalitarian.

Mohammad-Javad Larijani, an international affairs assistant in Iran’s judiciary, said: “Our government agreed not to stamp the passports of some of them because they were on transit flights for two hours, and they were resuming their flights without having their passports stamped. However, their movements were under the complete supervision of the Iranian intelligence.”
