London, 19 Apr – The Iranian sham elections, so-called because the Regime will not allow opposition candidates to run, are fast approaching, which has led to many think pieces in international media on the candidates and a worrying trend has emerged in many; proposing that there is a lesser of two evils within the Regime.

London, 19 Apr – As the Iranian sham elections draw ever closer, the Iranian Regime has become embroiled in a number of crises, which cannot wait until after election day to be fixed.
Heshmat Alavi, a political and human rights activist, has written an op-ed for American Thinker, in which he speculates which issue the Regime is planning to solve during this election time. After all, the Regime has form in this area.

London, 18 Apr – Senator John McCain (R-AZ), Chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, praised members the Iranian Resistance for standing up for freedom at a conference in Albania, earlier this month.
He said: “You have stood up and fought and sacrificed for freedom, for the right to live free, for the right to determine your own future, for the rights that are God-given. I thank you for being an example, an example to the whole world, that those people who are willing to fight and sacrifice for freedom will achieve it, and you are an example to everyone in the world that is struggling for (freedom).”

London, 18 Apr – The Trump administration is considering tougher sanctions on Iran, including using a much stricter interpretation on the current nuclear deal between Iran, the US and five other world powers.
A senior White House official told Foreign Policy that the Trump administration is considering being more rigorous with sanctions in the future, with the possibility of broadening US sanctions to include more companies that are linked with the Iranian terror squad, the IRGC.

London, 18 Apr – The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has compiled a 12 question Q&A to explain the 2017 Iranian sham election and why it is important.
This election takes place at a critical time for the Regime; infighting has never been so high between the ruling elites, Iran is involved in several international crises (as well as its ongoing taunting of the US), and the mullahs are deeply unpopular within their own country.

London, 18 Apr – While the US strike on the Shayrat Air Base in Syria was seen as a defiant strike against the dictator Bashar al-Assad; it was also a strike on Iran, who helped supply Syria with the chemical weapons to kill its own people.
The missile strike, on April 6, was a retaliation for the chemical attacks – widely believed to be the work of Syrian Government forces- which killed 100 people and left another 400 wounded.

London, 18 Apr – A former US ambassador to the UN has called on the US Congress to list the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps(IRGC) as a terrorist organisation and sanction them accordingly.
John Bolton wrote an op-ed for the New York Post, in which he stated that there could be no debate: the IRGC is a foreign terrorist organisation (FTO).

London, 17 Apr – Iran has plans to strike Saudi Arabia from Yemen, according to a general from the Arab coalition forces fighting in support of the legitimate government in Yemen.
General Ahmed Asiri, the spokesman for Arab Coalition, revealed the shocking news during an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya General Manager Turki Aldakhil, last week.

London, 17 Apr – On Saturday, a radical cleric in Iraq called for the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad to step down and called on the US, Iran and Russia to stop intervening in the Civil War.
Moqtada al-Sadr, who is based in Najaf condemned the murders of 87 people (including 31 children) in a chemical attack, on an area controlled by the resistance forces, that is widely blamed on the Syrian Government.

London, 17 Apr – Iran is in crisis but it is even more pronounced as the sham elections approach. Ehsan Aminolroaia, a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran revealed in an interview that the stress and infighting appear to be getting to the mullahs’ in a way that it hasn’t before.
