London, 6 Feb – The Jerusalem Post speculates that Iran’s leaders must have had a terrible weekend; as in just a few days the US’s feeling towards them has soured greatly- and it wasn’t that good, to begin with.
On Friday, February 3, the US National Security Adviser Michael Flynn said: “The days of turning a blind eye to Iran’s hostile and belligerent actions toward the United States and the world community are over.”

London, 5 Feb – Iran is seemingly being very cautious with regards to the United States. Before President Trump was inaugurated, the regime chanted “Death to America” and signed a deal worth $16.6 billion. The Iranian regime appears to be concerned about the possibility of military conflict.

London, 5 Feb – US officials announced on Friday that waterways off the coast of Yemen are now being protected against hostile activity. The officials said that the US sent a Navy destroyer to patrol the waters and to provide protection from Houthi militia that are backed by Iran.
This news comes just shortly after tensions mounted between the United States and Iran.

Mr. Ahmadreza Djalali is a scientist researching disaster medicine at the Free University Brussels (VUB) and at the Research Centre in Emergency and Disaster Medicine (CRIMEDIN) at the University of Eastern Piedmont in Novara, Italy.

London, 4 Feb – United States President Donald Trump ought to team up with Congress under a new bipartisan effort aiming to curb Iran’s destabilizing role in the region, argues Iranian dissident analyst Heshmat Alavi.
Writing for the American Thinker on 3 February, Alavi said:
Iran was involved in a long slate of aggressive measures up to the very doorsteps of President Donald Trump taking the helm in Washington. This concerning pattern of escalating extremism ironically increased following the Iran nuclear deal sealed between the P5+1 and Tehran, despite many in the West arguing such an accord would rein in the mullahs. And now, a new U.S. president has rightfully pinpointed “radical Islamic terrorists,” of which the root lies in Iran.

London, 4 Feb – Troubling encounters between the United States and Iran are increasing, claims the commander of an American destroyer that recently had to fire numerous warning shots to Iranian boats.
Cmdr. Mark Davis, the commanding officer of the USS Mahan, said on Thursday that in 2015 the number of “unsafe and unprofessional” interactions was 23. Last year this number rose to 35.

It has ruled that a woman has to be blinded in one eye after she attacked another person with acid, leaving her without sight.
