London, 7 August – When U.S. President Donald Trump announced in May that the United States was exiting the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), or the 2015 Iran nuclear deal as it is known, he also announced that the crippling sanctions that were lifted as a result of it would be reapplied.

He has been a harsh critic of the nuclear deal and said that he was pulling the United States out of it because it does not fulfil its purpose, rather it guarantees a nuclear arms race in the region.

London, 7 August – Mohamed Taha Mustafa is the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Kingdom of Belgium, the EU, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, who represents Yemen to the institutions of the European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg. He seeks to alert Europe to the situation that Iranian-backed Houthi rebel militias are putting the Yemeni people in, and to the dangers of their alliance with Tehran.

According to the ambassador, Abdel Malek al-Houthi, the Houthi-Iranian militia leader, does not attempt to bring about a successfully negotiated solution. He refuses the peace initiatives that have been issued by the legitimate government of Yemen and the United Nations. He appears unconcerned about the catastrophic humanitarian impact that he has brought upon innocent civilians, and believes that he is carrying out a divine mission to govern Yemen.

London, 6 August – On June 30, the Iranian Opposition held a Free Iran rally in Paris, which was widely attended by diplomats, distinguished guests, and the Iranian diaspora from around the world, who oppose Iran and support a secular, democratic, and free Iran.

The event, which was organised by the National Council of Resistance (NCRI) and the Organization of Iranian American Communities (OIAC) among other dissident groups, showed clearly how the Iranian Resistance has made progress in Iran in the form of a mass uprising by the people against the Regime. This was encouraged in March by NCRI President-elect Maryam Rajavi who called for “a year full of uprisings”.

London, 6 August – On Sunday, the Iranian people had been protesting for six days straight against the Mullahs’ Government that has destroyed the Iranian economy.

The Iranian people have been telling the world for a long time that the Government’s corruption and mismanagement has caused many problems in their country, from a lack of jobs to high food prices to severe water shortages. They advise that the Government spends the people’s money on foreign adventurism across the Middle East (i.e. Syria, Lebanon, Yemen), while ignoring problems at home. This negligence has caused the people to take to the streets, despite the threats of violence from the Government’s security forces and the risk of imprisonment or execution.

London, 4 August – Fresh protests broke out across Iran on Thursday in response to the failing economy, the drastic devaluation of the rial, and yet more economic problems ahead of returning US sanctions.

Videos posted on social media, which were said to be filmed in Gohardasht, a suburb of Karaj, showed protesters shouting “Death to the dictator” as they set fire to police vehicles. The police were seen spraying the protesters with tear gas.

London, 4 August – Shortly after the Cold War ended, Osama bin Laden headed to Sudan, during which time he had little involvement in politics. After two years there, however, he dedicated himself to forming a plan to confront the “crusaders”; a plan about a terrorist attack on the USA.

He wanted to open the gates of hell and he had the money and the human resources to do so, but he lacked ideas. Unfortunately, this stalemate didn’t last long and soon he brought Abu Hajar al-Iraqi on board to formulate the plans for what was to become known as 9/11.

Thirty years ago, one of the worst massacres of the 20th century happened in Iran on the orders of Supreme Leader Ruhollah Khomeini.

Scared of the Iranian Resistance group, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and the Iranian people’s widespread support of them, Khomeini issued a fatwa that all MEK members being held as political prisoners should be exterminated.

Over the course of just a few months, 30,000 MEK members were subjected to mock trials and executed, regardless of their previous sentencing or even if they’d already served their prison term.
