London, 1 Mar – The US has spent the past five weeks getting tough on Iran and this can only be a good thing, according to a political analyst.
Shahriar Kia, a member of the democratic Iranian opposition group, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), wrote an op-ed on Iran Freedom, praising the US for their policy towards the Iranian Regime.

London, 28 Feb – Michael Rubin, a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and a former Pentagon official, wrote an op-ed about the Obama administration’s ransom deal with Iran in early 2016.
Rubin testified before the House Financial Services Committee in September on the ransom payment of $1.2 billion paid by the US to Iran in order to secure the release of American hostages.

London, 28 Feb – The Iranian Navy has test-fired nuclear missiles during its annual war games in the Persian Gulf, in spite of the US’s objections.
The launch of the Nasr sea-launched cruise missile was confirmed by Iranian defence minister Hossein Dehghan, who said the test was successful.

London, 28 Feb – In the first two weeks of February, a staggering 25 Iranian youths have been executed by the Regime.
Those executed were all under the age of 30; 12 were hanged in Gohardasht Prison, west of Tehran, on February 15, while a further 13 were hanged between February 11 and 13, in Qom, Zabol, Jiroft and Mashhad prisons.

London, 28 Feb – The Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) deserves to be designated as a foreign terrorist organisation by the USA, according to a human rights expert.
Heshmat Alavi wrote an op-ed on Al-Arabiya, declaring that the IRGC are terrorists and must be recognised as such, as the debate on the issue heats up in the US Congress.

London, 28 Feb – Peace talks in the Syrian Civil War are currently underway in Geneva but the freedom of the Syrian people is constantly under threat thanks to people who are putting their own needs above those of the Syrians.
Eyad Abu Shakra, a noted journalist, wrote an op-ed for Asharq Al-Awsat, in which he criticised players in the Syrian Civil War for propping up the barbarous Regime for their own benefit.

London, 28 Feb – Iran and Turkey have been diplomatic rivals for a long time but have only recently been forced to confront it thanks to developments in Syria and Iraq, according to Turkish analysts.
Indeed, Turkey recently blamed Iran for attempting to destabilise the region through “Persian nationalism”, and a “sectarian policy” aimed at undermining Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

London, 28 Feb – Many in the West have attempted to paint the Iranian Regime as a moderate government, who pose no threat to their own people or those in other countries but this is simply not true. In the past few days, the Regime has been determined to show that they are far from moderates, from their Supreme Leader to their terror squad, the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

London, 27 Feb – The United Nations peace envoy said that the militant attack in Syria on February 25, was a deliberate attempt to end the peace talks currently underway in Geneva.
Suicide bombers, who were reportedly from the jihadist rebel alliance Tahrir al-Sham (an affiliate of al Queda), stormed Syrian security offices in Homs, killing dozens via gunshot or explosions. This caused the Syrian Government to launch airstrikes against the last rebel-held part of Homs.

London, 27 Feb – The Iranian Regime launched naval drills in the Gulf and the Indian Ocean on February 26, according to an Iranian naval commander.
Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari told Regime-run media that Iran’s annual naval exercises will be held in a 2 million sq. km area in the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman, the Bab el-Mandab and northern parts of the Indian Ocean.
